Net Remit/JCB Fares Reinstated for USA LC Agents
We are also pleased to inform you that LC Agent Net remit/JCB fares from the USA to India are now available in GDS for ticketing up to 31Mar21 as per following calculation:
First/Business Class 4% on base fare only
Economy Class 4% on base fare only plus additional USD 20.00
You are reminded that for the duration of the IATA Winter Timetable upto 24th March, 2021 (subject to change) Air India expects to operate VBM/Air Bubble flights to/from India, not regularly scheduled AI flights. Per Gov’t of India mandate, VBM fares are posted on the Air India website for consumer transparency. Whilst charging a nominal fee for your services is acceptable, all complaints of excessive fees charged over and above the published fares on their VBM sanctioned flights are being actively monitored.
Fares to/from Interior USA
Post 21st March, 2020, flights operated under the Vande Bharat Mission did not permit combination with U.S. add-ons. To facilitate passengers residing across the USA it was decided to establish through fares on UA and/or DL to/from major cities in the USA via our five (5) gateways (JFK/EWR/IAD/ ORD/SFO). In addition you may continue to combine JetBlue/B6 domestic fares end-on-end with AI international VBM fares. All valid fares are available for auto-pricing in GDS.
